Permissions for downloading recordings

What permissions does a role need to allow a user within my Zoom account to download the cloud recordings from all users? They do not need permissions to anything else.

The place to look in in admin > Recording Management.



Zoom has a good knowledge base that explains how to do almost everything in Zoom.

Hello,

 

You will need to create a custom role.

 

Admin> User Management > Roles > Add Role.

Then once you have created the role and named it do the next part.

 

Modify the role permissions

Admin> User Management > Roles > Role Settings > activate Recording Management and turn off any other permissions that you don't want the user to have.

 

Once you have done this you will need to assign this new custom role to the user you want doing this task.

Thanks. That is what I tried previously, but they don't see any recordings. Is it possible that there is another place to look for other users' recordings rather than https://zoom.us/recording ?

Ok this works. Thank you. 

 

What is interesting is that I am the account administrator, and I don't see "Recording Management" in the navigation. However, the user who has a custom role with specific permissions does.

 

Specifically, they see it under

Admin > Account Management > Recording Management

Inspect your own role’s permissions and modify them if needed. Be aware that modifying a role in this way will grant the same privileges to any other user with the role.
